Paint what your heart desires!

28 May

It’s time to find your paintbrush and your colors,

- and paint!

Let’s get inspired! I know I need to be anyways… ;)

I chose Daler Rowney aquarelle paper and Isabey paintbrushes for starting out my work as shown here, and I’m working with aquarelle colors from Winsor & Newton. You know, there’s nothing like a white, clean paper and all the endless possibilities you have in front of you! Let your heart fill the paper… To pass on one of my favorite quotes in the words of Picasso:

“Creativity has to find you working!”

Absolutely inspiring!!!

19 May

I’m absolutely inspired by girlfriend Tine V’s writing party the other day! Love love love that she’s sharing this amazing picture with her friends on facebook!

Thank you darling, made my day!

If I’m not absolutely mistaken we can see

Bookbinders A5 binder, Moleskine Cover Art Journal, Rationella notebook, Ecojot notebook, Staedtler triplus fineliner pens (see, I’m far from the only fan!), Lyra coloring pencils.

Discovering a new pen is always something special…

18 May

Today I tried a new pen. In my line of work you do that a lot. So I was amazed today – when I found this wonderful pen from Uni-ball! By looking at it you really don’t think this pen can bring anything exciting to writing, it certainly doesn’t look much, but surprise! What a lovely pen to write with!! I absolutely recomend it to anyone who likes to write with a thicker and softer nib. It looks as delicate on both white and offwhite paper! It would be interesting to see a more exclusive model of it though, if it could perhaps be a little bit heavier in hand it would be close to perfect in my mind..!

Also shown; Two notebooks from Rationella, swedish bookbinding in cooperation with industrial designer Nancy Bladfält.
