It’s nice with some time off to think, and to write. I’m always keeping my little black notebook with me at all times. Sitting down scribbeling, have time to breath and with a cup of coffee in the sun. Lovely!

Trying out the new paint from Faber Castell.
Thank you Küenholdt for the product contributions to this article!
Since the mood went hand in hand with the rainy weather today, my little love and I decided to have a painting day!
I had the new Faber Castell painting set waiting, and I was excited to see how much mess my son would make of it…but to my surprise it went smoothly and he was far too much occupied with painting than anything else!
Trying out the colors.. There was many nice colors in this set, and they all more than filled the expectations to color rendering.
Even after using them all a quite great deal, it doesn’t look like they have been used at all. Great quality!
I really fell for all the smart details to this painting set;
The loose color palettes, so you can take them out of the box to have them close by while painting! The rumors say that you can even buy refills, which means you can fill up your box if you have only finished one of the colors!
The lid which is also a color mixer if you turn it upside down!
The watercup that holds your brush in place without having it stand in water! Here my son used the Faber Castell brush which is in plastic, but otherwise it’s a killer for brushes made out of tree. Y’all know…
Mini had an unguarded moment, and had to have a taste of the colors… And I can tell you that no harm is done to either him or the paint! It was nice of him to test this as well…or something like that…!
So, the day went by and I’m guessing there will be much more waterpainting for us!
Found this AMAZING blog with fashion illustrations, I fell completely for the ladies drawn on this page! It’s a pleasure to see the painter knows his/her stuff by everything shown… Enjoy!
