I always read posts about pens and Moleskines with conrdiesable avidity. I am a self-avowed pen snob and have long been on the quest for the perfect companion to my beloved notebook.Unlike many folks, the G2 doesn’t cut it for me. The long-drying time is the drawback. Same with the Sarasa which I like to use when taking notes on a legal pad for its smooth glide and dark, rich line.I’ve finally decided to go with the Cross Ion as my Moleskine pen, so much so that I ordered the replacement part for my Cross Matrix so I can use Ion refills in a longer barreled body. The smooth and dark lines of the Ion were the selling point for me and I have no drying time issues.I doubt we’ll ever completely resolve the perfect pen debate, but I’m so glad to be able to read everyone else’s experiences. Because really, the perfect pen is always the one we haven’t found yet, yes?

Thank you for your comment, and you are absolutely right!! The perfect pen is always the one we haven’t found yet… which is completely ok for me, I’ll have a lifetime ahead to go looking for it!! ;) Love / Cecilia
